Here we go again. Despite persistent rumours about Microsoft releasing a Blu-ray drive for the Xbox 360, or integrating the format into the console itself, the firm has declared yet again that it has no plans to do any such thing.
Fallout 3 hits pirate networks three weeks ahead of launch
Fallout 3, Bethesda Softworks’ reimagining of the brilliant Fallout series, is still weeks away from launching. That hasn’t stopped the pirates though. Dodgy copies of the game, which can be played on modified Xbox 360 consoles, are already spreading like wildfire on Bit Torrent websites.

Xbox 360’s new dashboard experience landing on November 19th
Microsoft has proved the internet rumour-mill correct and officially announced that the New Xbox Experience (NXE) will go live on November 19th.
NXE is the latest Xbox 360 Dashboard overhaul and the most ambitious so far. Apart from a major visual overhaul, the update will add new player Avatars, a Friends channel and an option to install games to the hard drive for faster load times.

Wow, it must have been months since the last time an external Blu-ray drive for Xbox 360 was rumoured! Fortunately X-bit labs has stepped in to reignite speculation and even comes citing ‘market sources’ to back up its claims.
Fable II creator pleads with reviewers for non-gamer perspective
Fable 2 creator and legendary game designer, Peter Molyneux, has made the unusual step of asking game reviewers for favours. Early review copies of the game are being sent out ahead of the launch later in the month and include a letter from Molyneux asking reviewers to see it from a non-gamer’s perspective.
