AlertMe - the wireless guard dog
Even more reliable than a ‘beware of the dog’ sticker is AlertMe’s wireless home security system. The whole kit costs little more than an actual guard dog and unlike Rover, AlertMe will text you and send an email the moment it detects any smoke or intruders back at your pad.

Sharp cuts the cables on HD TV
Wall mounting a flatscreen TV, but don’t want cables dangling out the back? Then you need Sharp’s new box of tricks. It’s been made in partnership with AMIMON, and sends full HD pictures in uncompressed form from any source to Sharp’s new X-series LCD TVs. It’ll work up to 30 metres, and even beams pictures through walls. It’s on sale in Japan with the new TVs already, but there’s no word on when it’ll hit the UK. Yet.

Nyko Kama wireless Wii Nunchucks away
Although the Wii ships with a perfectly good nunchuck in the box, it’s plain white and tethered to your Wiimote with a crummy cable. The Kama ‘chucks from Nyko, on the other hand, are wireless and better still, multi-coloured. The limited edition paint jobs include grey, pink, black and gold, but hurry, only 300 were made in each livery and just 150 in gold and black. Or better still, you could just buy a regular white nunchuck and pimp it yourself with the money you’re saving.
Out now | Price $35

Parrot joins the PARTY with world’s first NFC speakers
Parrot’s PARTY Black Edition speakers are the first ever to incorporate Nokia’s wireless NFC (near field communication) technology. This means that by simply touching the PARTY speakers with Nokia’s 6212 Classic – that’s the first NFC phone – you can live stream the music on your mobile. Unlike the usual Bluetooth system, it’s totally secure and there’s no messing about with menus or settings.
