Nintendo‘s latest joypad-busting gaming device, the Wii Speak microphone, doesn’t go on sale here until December 5th, but we’ve got our hands on one early – see the pics after the jump!
Remember the controversy surrounding gamers buying second hand Wii Speak kit? Nintendo locks each microphone to a specific console with a unique download key only allowing a single serve of the required software, making getting hold of one on the cheap a no-no. But now they’ve cleared up the confusion, explaining gamers will be able to sort it out with a quick call to customer services.
Nintendo has confirmed that its new Wii channel and accessory will launch in the UK on December 5. The Wii Speak channel will let you chat, IM and share pictures with up to three other Wii users over the Internet. The Wii Speak omnidirectional mic means that one Wii can be used by an entire room for party-to-party conversations.
