A Flip camera with WiFi has been on the cards for a long time but the rumours simply didn’t deliver any facts…until now. The FCC has taken a look at a brand new Flip camera and its packing 802.11a/b/g/n support – the Flip WiFi camera is coming! We don’t know when specifically but notes in the FCC filing ask for full photos to remain under wraps until May 1 so that would suggest that’s when it’ll emerge. O2 Wi-fi: free internet for all

O2 is launching a Wi-fi provider that will work in a raft of public places and venues, and will mean free internet access in more than double the hotspots currently available with BT Openzone and The Cloud by 2013.

Samsung Galaxy Tab WiFi only edition landing Q1 2011Powered by Android 2.2 Froyo, the Samsung Galaxy Tab will drop the 3G radios in favor of a WiFi-only edition early this year. According to a press release from Samsung Mobile, the Galaxy Tab WiFi edition will be arriving in the US in the first quarter of 2011.
