And we weren’t disappointed! We tracked down some seriously bonkers inventions, from toys and MP3 players to funny-shaped PCs, the like of which we’d never seen before.

In possibly the weirdest story this week – Tetris can prevent the formation of memories and could be harnessed to prevent Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, say medical researchers.
No, it’s not a prop from a sci-fi film, it’s a handheld computer with more controls than you’d ever find a use for. Dubbed the AlphaGrip, it packs keys for ten finger touch typing, a track ball and even a stylus to write directly onto the touchscreen. It’s still in the concept stage, and if we’re really honest, it’s likely to stay there.
