Yesterday Sony unveiled its Vaio C Series, a 14-inch laptop that comes in a variety of neon colours, and is coated in a plastic that refracts light, pulling it in and scattering it out along the edges, so it looks like your laptop is straight out of Tron. Of course, there’s also the more conventional black and a silvery white version, but who wants black when you can have a sickly neon orange? Sony’s third release for the day is the Sony Vaio C series. This is the least exciting of the three announcement from today, but probably the most practical: it’s a super slim 13.3-inch laptop, that’s just 24mm deep, and weighs 1.75kg. Phwoar!

PS3 Remote Play, the nifty net feature that lets you stream video and TV to Sony PSPs, is headed to laptops. On paper, it looks like Sony just put Sling Media and its Slingbox gear out of business, but there’s a catch: it appears only future Sony VAIO laptops will support it.
