Following last week’s appearance of the first Jasper Xbox 360s, Microsoft has revealed that the budget-priced Xbox 360 Arcade model has now moved to physical internal memory storage. Instead of getting a 512MB external memory unit, each console comes with 256MB of flash memory on the mainboard.
The first batch of upgraded Xbox 360 consoles, codenamed ‘Jasper’, is now believed to be arriving in shops. These are packing a smaller, cooler GPU which reduces noise levels and improves reliability. It also consumes less power, and the newest models are sporting a smaller power supply, now at 150W.
