TomTom is rolling out version 4.0 of TomTom HD Traffic. It now reports 200% more traffic jams in rush hour, and delivers information to the TomTom device two minutes after a problem is reported on the roads. There’ll be no extra cost for existing TomTom users either. TomTom says: “Existing HD Traffic customers will experience the benefits immediately, without the need for any software upgrade.”

A new version of Facebook for Android has hit the Android marketplace. It adds the seriously important ability to browse your friends’ profiles and photo albums in the app. In the previous version of Facebook for Android, you’d have found yourself kicked out into the browser.
Being able to browse photos and profiles in the app means it’s now much easier to zoom in on photos, leave comments and share them. However Android’s Facebook app is still lagging in some other areas – you can’t access your inbox to send or receive messages and Events aren’t supported yet.
However, don’t worry too much Android fans, it took over a year for the iPhone app to get Event and the development of the Android version seems to be moving a lot faster. The original version was only released in September.
