BlackBerry Storm 2 is already hot mobile gossip, but now RIM CEO Jim Balsillie has made it official. BlackBerry Storm 2 is the follow up to RIM’s divisive iPhone Killer, which was widely criticised for its buggy software and unresponsive touchscreen tech. If BlackBerry Storm 2 can remedy those issues, stick in a WiFi chip and harness the power of BlackBerry App World, RIM may finally be able to give Apple a run for its money.
The iPhone is to get a port of the classic 2D strategy game Worms (no, not that kind of worm). The creators of the Worms franchise, Team 17, announced their intention to bring the game to the Apple iPhone in 2008.
Even better, new screenshots show the game in action on the iPhone’s touchscreen and indicating that it’s edging close to release.
