A screengrab that appears to be the price plans for the BlackBerry Torch 9800 on Vodafone has leaked, despite the fact that we’re still waiting on a release date for the BlackBerry Torch in the UK, after it was released in the US back in August.
UPDATE: The BlackBerry Torch Expansys date is “rumour and inaccurate” according to a RIM spokersperson. RIM declined to give an official date in its place when asked.
The BlackBerry Torch still has no exact UK release date – at least from RIM, anyway. UK retailer Expansys says otherwise though, and has listed a stock date on its site for the BlackBerry 6, QWERTY sliding smartphone. The thing is, it’s not until October. Can you wait that long?
UPDATE: It’s also worth pointing out all the demo BlackBerry Torch handsets at today’s launch were running on O2 SIM cards, although according to the company’s Twitter feed, there’s no announcement being made yet. Looks like Vodafone has sneaked an early lead in the pre-order stakes. [Thanks for the tip @Peebrains!]
