More details on the game are expected at E3, the world’s largest videogame trade show, taking place in Los Angeles, in early June. The next Tony Hawk game will be revealed at E3, the world’s largest videogame trade show, taking place in June, in Los Angeles. Original Tony Hawk developers Neversoft have switched over to making Guitar Hero games and the new game is promised to be both a radical reboot of the series and “as close to real skating as you’ll ever come” according to Tony Hawk himself.

Activision and Atari have gone on a splurge, announcing a slew of new games due for arrival 2009 and beyond. In the pipe are an Infinity Ward-developed sequel to their award-winning Call Of Duty high-point Modern Warfare, more Dungeons & Dragons games including a sequel to Baldur’s Gate and a Tony Hawk you won’t play “with a controller in your hands”, according to an Activision rep.
