Apple has been granted a patent for a feature that screens objectionable text messages, whether you’re sending or receiving them. The snappily titled Apple patent is officially called “Text-based communication control for personal communication device”. Which translates to sext message screening. Whether it’ll also cut out Jobs’ other bugbear, gambling, isn’t clear.
From Tuesday, business class travellers flying between London and New York with BA will be able to use their mobiles to send texts and emails. The airline is rolling out the in-flight OnAir service which will let those vital texts and emails wing their way from 20,000 feet.
