What is it with Apple and undocumented features? Teams of geeks have been poking around in the guts of the iPhone and iPod Touch since they appeared and have found a number of hidden treats – from little things like the proximity sensor that detects the phone being raised to your ear (most recently exploited by Google’s search app) to an entire undocumented subsystem for outputting the Touch/iPhone’s display to a TV screen.
