Investors love iPhone 5 rumors, Sprint stocks rise over ten percentYesterday, app logs revealed the iPhone 5 could in fact be a world phone. This would be the first iPhone capable of roaming the globe on CDMA and GSM networks. Obviously this is major news for the US where two of the top four nationwide carriers, Verizon and Sprint, still rely on a CDMA backbone. Following our coverage, a report from the Wall Street Journal surfaced, suggesting Sprint would sell more than six million iPhones this year. The stock market ate it up like a piece of grandma’s fresh blueberry pie.
