Dubbed the “Xbox killer” by the mainstream media, 16-year-old Shane Boyd has been sentenced to life (22 years, minimum 11) for stabbing to death fellow teenager Conor Black outside a party in Moston, Manchester last year. Boyd stabbed Black over the “alleged theft of an Xbox games console”, a fact which has sent the mainstream media into full spin mode.
