The Sonos Controller for Android was meant to arrive at the end of March but we’re here and it’s not. Sonos’ VP of Quality has popped up on the firm’s forums to explain why:
“We know you’re anxiously awaiting the Sonos Controller for Android. Unfortunately, testing the app is taking a bit longer than we anticipated. The latest addition to our free controller-line up won’t arrive until April but when it does, it is going to rock.”
That’s encouraging and we hope that April deadline sticks!
Sonos has some serious issues to fight as AirPlay takes flight today with iOS 4.2 for iPad, iPod touch and iPhone. But it looks like it’s getting an army together.
