Sims 3 Late Night arrives this Friday for PC and Mac

The latest PC/Mac expansion pack for the Sims, Sims 3 Late Night, hits the shops this Friday, so if you prefer your Friday nights to be lived vicariously in a virtual world of dive bars and vampire infested streets, then you’ll be wanting to get your hands on this quicksharp. If you thought Sims 3 Late Night was just the expansion pack with the cringiest of taglines: “the Sims just got sexy”, then you were wrong. It’s also the most musically obscene, and comes rammed with My Chemical Romance tracks sung in Simlish.

Sims 3 for console: first play plus gallery

Sims 3 is headed to console for the first time, and will be available on PS3, Xbox 360 and the DS from 29 October. Sims 3 is also winging its way to Wii, but there’ll be a bit of a wait on that, and it’s likely to be arriving around mid November.

The Sims 3 hits pirate networks weeks before launch

The Sims 3 has escaped the Electronic Arts compound and is now spreading across Bit Torrent networks, a full two weeks before the game was due to hit shelves. Although no stranger to piracy, it’s a poignant blow for EA, which had already promised to slacken its invasive DRM policies after the outcry, and resulting mass piracy, that tarnished the launch of Spore last year.
