At CES we saw a whole raft of massive TVs, from the LG 84″ ultra definition 3D TV, to the Sharp 3D ready Aquos 70″ TV. Sharp in particular seemed to be running with the idea that bigger was better, despite the fact that most of us can’t fit its Aquos TV in our living rooms. What do you think? This neat sound bar from sharp is powered by USB so there’ll be minimal wiring, because it doesn’t need to be plugged into the mains. The Sharp CP-USB50 Mini Sound Bar Is a 2.1ch speaker system, which has a built in subwoofer and comes with a dinky carry case. It’s a snip at £40, and is good looking with it too.

The Google TV rollout is being delayed by Google as it struggles with software issues that have led to lukewarm reviews and high user returns.
