In the world of cloud computing and advances server systems, memory reigns supreme. Today, Samsung announced it is the first in the industry to start mass producing 32 GB memory modules using 30 nanometer (nm) class four gigabit DDR3 chips. If you think that’s impressive, the company also plans to release more energy-efficient 4Gb DDR3 DRAM based on 20nm-class process technology later this year.
