The PS3 is about to get a surge of C&C: Red Alert 3 goodies in the run up to the RTS game’s belated arrival on Sony’s platform. The port may have been a long time coming, but it’s bringing in a host of new content to earn its Ultimate Edition status. Before you decide to splash out though, you’ll want to check out the demo, which is due to land on the PlayStation Store in a couple of weeks.

Halo Wars will continue to get updates from its original developer, despite the studio behind it – Ensemble Studios – being disbanded by Microsoft. The same team, also well-known for its Age of Empires games, went on to form Robot Entertainment and have now confirmed that they’ll be providing online support and community management for Halo Wars, as well as working on the DLC they hinted at earlier.
Sega has revealed some details about new strategy sequel Empire: Total War and confirmed a North American release date of March the 3rd, with the rest of the world able to join in from the 4th.
The developer behind the massively successful Age Of Empires series and Halo Wars, the Halo universe realtime strategy game coming in February, has criticised Microsoft over the studio’s closure and the cancelation of its Halo massively multi-player online (MMO) game.
