Grand Theft Auto 3 was made available on both Android and iPhone yesterday. It’s the exact same amazing game, with the exact same controls, and yet there’s a startling difference of more than 20 percent in customer satisfaction on both platforms. At the time of writing, in iOS, it’s sitting pretty at a superb 4.5 out of five. On the Android Market however, it’s hovering at 3.4 out of five.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is finally coming. We’ve waited three and a half long years for official confirmation of a sequel, and now we have it straight from the publisher itself. Little is known about the game just yet, but in that time, Rockstar will have had plenty of time to brainstorm ideas and fix the flaws in the last outing.

The Grand Theft Auto Trilogy (Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas) hit the Mac last year but it’s now got even easier to grab the games.

RockStar has started bringing Grand Theft Auto to the Mac App Store with Grand Theft Auto III now available to download. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City will follow on August 25 with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas dropping on September 1. They’ll set you back £10.49 each and you’ll need a Mac running OS X 10.6.6 to relive the classic car jacking capers.

L.A. Noire heads to the PC this fall, GTA 5 next?Well looky here. Rockstar Games, by way of Rockstar Leeds, has announced plans to bring its wildly successful crime thriller L.A. Noire to the PC this fall. The move from console to PC brings a world of customization, including keyboard mapping and enhanced gamepad functionality. Trust us when we say this is not your everyday port.

How do you take L.A. Noire to the next level? How about taking it to the next dimension. The PC version will add 3D gameplay, delivering “an even greater sense of interaction and immersion within a painstakingly detailed 1940s Los Angeles.” Life as Detective Cole Phelps will never feel so real.
