Everyone’s favourite bipedal android toy is evolving. WowWee just revealed the newest Robosapien, dubbed Joebot – its slickest robot ever, with smoother movement and more advanced skills.
The similarities between this newcomer to the budget end of the robotics and the original Robosapien are uncanny but anyone looking to add to their automaton army should certainly consider this clone.
Owners of more than one robot from the Wowwee line up will be pleased to hear of a universal controller coming soon that can manipulate multiple machines.
We fought the urge to delete the inclusion of “hot-bot” as part of our description of Arcee from the forthcoming Transformers film, and still feel a little strange about it. Now Sega has announced its E.M.A. (Eternal, Maiden, Actualization) complete with “kissing” function.
Do we feel that: A) The female form is being exploited B) Is an unnerving and unnecessary function or C) Our overactive imaginations can see where this might all end up?
