A Kinect PC controller is coming but not from Microsoft. PrimeSense, the firm that teamed up with Microsoft to develop Kinect from Project Natal, has now hooked up with Asus to create the terribly-named WAVI Xtion. The Kinect PC controller will bring “Minority Report”-style handwaving to your PC with Asus planning to offer an entire WAVI Xtion app store. There’s no news of whether Mac fans will get some WAVI Xtion action but we’ve had a Kinect Mac hack and know that Apple itself has lots of patents for motion control lurking in the vaults. Natal UK preorders kick off at Game on Sunday. The retailer has added a Natal UK preorders countdown clock to its site and it ends this weekend. Curiously, that means it will be taking down names for Natal before Microsoft pulls the covers off the finished product at its Natal E3 event which doesn’t start until early Monday morning UK time.
