Halo 3, Mass Effect and PGR4: each one is an absolutely must-have Xbox 360 title, and now Microsoft has generously decided to slap a budget price tag on them and flog them as a new Xbox 360 Classics range. Xbox 360 Classics will be £19.99 a pop when they re-launch in their new boxes this Friday, 20th March.

Activision and Atari have gone on a splurge, announcing a slew of new games due for arrival 2009 and beyond. In the pipe are an Infinity Ward-developed sequel to their award-winning Call Of Duty high-point Modern Warfare, more Dungeons & Dragons games including a sequel to Baldur’s Gate and a Tony Hawk you won’t play “with a controller in your hands”, according to an Activision rep.
Australian New South Wales acting Superintendent Dave Evans has blasted driving games as a reason for Australia’s infamous dangerous roads. Evans told the Australian Telegraph: “Videogames can have a negative impact on young drivers because it increases their complacency and their risk-taking behaviour.”
