Samsung has said that it is having to rethink the pricing plans for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 after Apple’s iPad revamp. That’s according to executive VP of Samsung Lee Don-Joo, who said that the super slim iPad 2 means that things might have to change for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

It quickly disappeared, to be replaced with an image that had no pricing or pre-order details on it. Now, the pre-orders have opened for real, with a price of £500. Why the price difference?

The LG Optimus Pad could set you back as much as £840, according to the German press release. LG’s German press release for the LG Optimus Pad puts the price point at €999, which converts to £840.

The LG UK team had no information on the UK pricing for the LG Optimus Pad, and a spokesperson said she could not comment on whether the German price would be a straight conversion for the UK market.
