The classic Nokia Snake game lives on! If you’ve been on MSN’s homepage today and been a bit distracted by all the bright colours to the right of the page, you’re not alone. To celebrate the launch of the Nokia Lumia 800 Windows Phone smartphone, the Finnish giant is offering web surfers the chance to play the classic snake game online for free.
The Samsung Galaxy S 2 has given pricing and release date information for the UK. Over on Clove UK, the retailer has come forward with what it believes is accurate pricing: 16GB for £510 plus VAT and 32GB for £590 plus VAT. Meanwhile, Play.com has the 16GB listed at £599.99 with free delivery. Both retailers have pegged the next generation smartphones for a late March release.
O2 has revealed on Twitter that it will be getting a white version of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play on exclusive. We say so ourselves, but the Xperia Play has been quite the ugly duckling. There’s been a startling transformation from early Frankenstein’s monster leaks of the device, where it looked more like a home mod than a prototype, and now we have this beautiful white swan of a device. When Kinect broke cover at E3, Microsoft didn’t really delve too deeply into the technical details. Instead we got lots of circus antics and the first batch of Kinect games to dissect. Now Play.com has spilled the full Kinect specs list and there’s some interesting revelations. The big one is that while Kinect can track 6 people at any one time, it’ll only support two active players. Looks like Kinect multiplayer games might be a little less multi than we thought…
When the Medal of Honor multiplayer beta was confirmed by EA last month, the secretive so-and-sos didn’t give any clues about when it might be deployed. But it seems Play.com didn’t know it needed to be so secretive. It’s leaked details of the Medal of Honor multiplayer beta in the game listing and while the full game isn’t out until October, it seems we’ll be able to strap on our virtual boots a lot sooner…
