Not everyone was getting excited at Play.com’s DRM-free big four music fest this morning. Ben Drury, CEO of 7Digital says they’ve been offering the same deal and more for over a month.

Looking for an alternative to iTunes, but don’t fancy the DRM-laden tracks from services like Nokia’s Comes With Music? You’re in luck! Play.com just announced it’s signed all four major record companies to its DRM-free download service.
Women fake calls and texts more, says 3 mobile
Research by 3 suggests we’re turning into a bunch of ‘Communifakers’ who’d rather pretend to talk and text than look like a Billy no mates in the pub. According to its bullet proof scientific analysis ‘43% of women, almost a third of men (32%) and three quarters (74%) of all 18-24 year olds are guilty of pointless phone fondling.
Sony PlayTV to be burdened by DRM
The PlayTV might be slightly delayed, but it’ll be cheaper than we thought, and pack HD tuners. Good news, right? Wrong. Sony’s decided to shove cumbersome DRM into the mix at the last minute, meaning shows can’t be transferred, and are tethered to one PS3.

We’re getting a little tired of this. Sony’s much maligned PlayTV tuner for the PlayStation 3 just got delayed. Again.
