We’ve just got out of the scrum around Asus to get hands on with one of its tablet netbook crossovers the Asus Eee Pad Transformer. We’ve had a play with the keyboard and touchscreen, that come apart so you can have a netbook setup or a straight tablet. We’re sorry Asus, but we’re just not sure about the durability of the mechanism on this one. Click through for more photos.

Instagram is one of our best iPhone apps and it looks like it could be one of our best Android apps soon too. Instagram has hit 1m users, is going for an extra-funding, has plans for a new API to share its smarts with third party applications and most excitingly an Instagram Android app. Co-founder Kevin Systrom told Techcrunch: “Android is really important to us and we know it’s important to lots of people too.” Are you an Instagram fan?
