Digital photo frames are boring, right? Not so the Nikon NF-300i, which rides the 3D wave by converting your standard 2D snaps into three popping-out dimensions – and there’s no need to slap on a pair of plastic specs.
This is creative product naming at its finest. LG’s just dished up details of its “Digital Photo TV”. It’s either the world’s largest digital photo frame, or the silliest name possible for a telly.
Of course, there’s a bit of logic in marketing its photo-displaying capabilities. Where most TVs tend to save on power by turning the screen off when you don’t want to watch it, you can now grab a screenshot from your favourite show and have it displayed on standby instead.
