Tony Hawk Ride developer, Robomodo, has revealed that its upcoming skateboard peripheral is not just going to be limited to Mr Hawk’s skating franchise. Tony Hawk Ride is merely the first step in a potential slew of games that will make use of the plastic board controller.
The Wii Vitality Sensor was by far the weirdest peripheral to come out of E3 this year, and while Nintendo’s president didn’t explain much of what it did at the keynote, he’s now hinted at some further uses, including tapping your heartbeat for horror games. This is all going to end in tears, you know.
Tony Hawk: Ride will be the next Tony Hawk skateboarding game from Activision, the company has announced. More details on the game are expected at E3, the world’s largest videogame trade show, taking place in Los Angeles, in early June. But one thing is clear from the teaser website just launched: the hints from Activision that the game was to feature a new control method are true.
