Good news Crysis 2 fans. A Crysis 2 DirectX 11 patch looks set to pop up imminently. German PC gaming site, PCGames.de says the patch is due to arrive tomorrow. That’s good news especially as Crysis 2 really should have shipped with it in the first place given that most PC gamers expect to see that support there from the off.

Killzone 2, the Sony PS3′s key rival to Microsoft’s Halo series, had several common complaints made against it: it was too conservative in level design and the controls were sluggish. The latter issue has now been fixed.

Killzone 2 might not be getting a co-op mode, but Guerrilla is definitely still rolling out updates for the PS3’s flagship shooter. A new patch is out tomorrow adding a number of gameplay tweaks, fixes and a new ‘Hardcore’ multiplayer rank. The patch is also paving the way for the upcoming Steel & Titanium map pack, due on April 30th. Killzone 2 v1.24 patch should be hitting PSN tomorrow.
Grand Theft Auto The Lost And Damned, GTA IV’s brand new download add-on, a tale of biker gangs warring on the streets of Liberty City, may have been getting rave reviews, but in Europe it has also been causing consternation.
Ubisoft has confirmed a range of updates to Far Cry 2’s multiplayer on all platforms. The issue of weapons balancing will be addressed in the next wave of patches. Following player requests for a more realistic experience, a new hardcore mode will also be made available on all maps and game modes.
Epic is considering an overhaul of it multiplayer ranking system for Gears of War 2. Executive Produce Rod Ferguson has told the game’s official forums that Epic is strongly considering exchanging the complicated and frustrating TrueSkill system for one based on more traditional experience ranking.
Bethesda has released a long awaited Fallout 3 patch for all platforms that fixes some of the more serious flaws in the game as well as tending to some lesser-known issues.
