President Obama – the most powerful man in the world – appears to be less than impressed with his BlackBerry. At a fundraiser in Chicago he commented privately that the technology used by the White House was ‘like, 30 years behind’, before going on to bemoan the lack of ‘really cool phones and stuff’. Video streaming site Ustream has been racing to get its iPhone and iPod Touch client approved by Apple so that it can grab some residual publicity by streaming the inauguration of President Obama. With literally hours to spare, Apple gave the app the nod. Mission accomplished!
