UPDATE: The Nokia C3 Touch and Type comes with a 2.4-inch screen and microSD slot, we’ve confirmed. It’ll cost around €145 (c.£121) unlocked.

The Nokia C3 Touch and Type has just been unveiled at Nokia World 2010. Speaking on stage, mobile phones executive vice president Mary McDowell outed the new touchscreen Symbian S40 phone. It’s packing 3G and Wi-Fi, and is out at the end of the year. The difference to the X3 Touch And Type? A different keyboard by the looks of things, with a more traditional 3×4 12 button layout. We’re chasing for more details.

Nokia World 2010 kicked off in style yesterday in the capital, with the revitalized Finnish phone peddler outing three stunning new Symbian 3 phones, but there could be still more to come here at day two. We’ve just arrived for the opening keynote with father of the web Sir Tim Berners-Lee, and we’ll be covering everything he has to say live, and touring the show floor too, so stick around: we’ve not heard a mention of MeeGo yet, so it might not just be HTC with a killer new smartphone to show today.
