Nintendo has claimed victory in a court case to stop Dutch retailers selling Wii modchips and R4 cartridges for the Nintendo DS.
A Nintendo Wii 2 with 3D won’t be the firm’s next step, according to Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto. While Nintendo head honcho Satoru Iwata discussed the idea last month, Miyamoto says the Wii 2 isn’t going to jump down the pipe and follow the Xbox 360 and PS3 into the 3D gaming world. Nintendo has gone 3D crazy with the Nintendo 3DS and it seems it’s already contemplating plans for another 3D console.
