Word on the digital grapevine is that Android Gingerbread could be out of hiding before the end of the week, and is headed to developer versions of the Nexus One. A tweet from Alvaro Fuentes Vasquez from the Open Handset Alliance said (roughly translated): “Prepare your Nexus One (Developer version) for Android OTA update 2.3 (Gingerbread) in the next few days:-D”
