NBA Jam has hit the iPhone. After being resurrected on the Wii, the classic basketball game has bounced onto the iPhone and iPad. The good news is that NBA Jam iPhone is a slam dunk with easy to use controls and all the sound effects we’ve come to expect including the inevitable “boomshakala!”

In the now daily Apple Tablet rumour mill, the biggest news was a patent that points to a secret plan for a 3D multitouch interface. Why secret? The patent was hidden under some rather more unassuming names than Apple’s.
Meanwhile Apple apparently has a bit of problem in the here and now. Virus experts Kaspersky Lab’s claims the clan in Cupertino has let Mac OS X’s malware protection get out of date. Hop over here for all the details you need to know.
For iPhone, Android phone and Palm Pre owners there’s good news though: location aware app Foursquare is finally breaking out of its metropolitan cage to allow you to check-in from anywhere in the world.

NBA JamEA Sports is set to revive the arcade, Game Boy and Sega CD basketball classic NBA Jam on the Nintendo Wii. According to the sports nuts as ESPN, EA has nabbed the rights to revive the game from the NBA.
