I don’t know about you but I like to use the sofa in ways that were probably never intended by its creators. No… I’m a bit too old and heavy to use the sofa as a trampoline but there is nothing as nice as spreading out on the sofa while surfing the web and listening to some music.
Over the last couple of days I’ve deliberately taken the time to use the laptop all over the house. From my desk to the sofa and from the kitchen to the bedroom just to see how well it adapts to each environment. I hope you’ll forgive me for not having tried the laptop out in the garden yet as lets be honest the weather hasn’t been too terrific.

Before we take a further look into the specs of the N50 we interrupt our regular broadcast for a question from Karan who wants to know when the new Asus VX5 is going to be released in the UK and where to get one.
I have been using the Asus N50 for a couple of days now and it has grown on me. Through the years I’ve used a lot of laptops and although all men are created equal, some laptops are definitely more equal than others.
In today’s posting I’m going to have a little ramble on how the Asus N50 looks. When it comes to the design of the N50 I think Sir Francis Bacon described it best when he wrote all those years ago “There is no excellent beauty that hath not some strangeness in the proportion”.
I’m starting my Asus Blogger Experience with a sort of disclaimer. Some of you will probably still remember the scandals that popped up earlier in the year with certain companies paying for people to post good reviews. To avoid any confusion I just wanted to state that as part of the Asus Blogger Campaign I’ve received this laptop for the duration of the competition (4 weeks). If I win, I get the option to keep the laptop and if I don’t win but fulfill all the other requirements, I’ll be receiving a netbook.
