Mozilla has adopted two real Firefox cubs (aka red panda cubs) which live at Knoxville Zoo in Tennessee. Mozilla has set up a dedicated website to track the progress of the Firefox cubs. You can watch them on webcam and follow them on Twitter. When Firefox 4 hits its next download target, Mozilla plans to reward Cub Number One and Cub Number Two with a jungle gym to play in. Quick! It’s the mystery device that was showcased in an ad during Jimmy Fallon’s show on US TV and that we all had some much fun speculating about. Firefox for Windows Mobile has been abandoned and work on a version of Firefox for Windows Phone 7 has been put on hold by Mozilla. Microsoft’s decision to restrict Windows Phone 7 apps to Silverlight and XNA was seemingly the final straw for the Mozilla folk working on Firefox for Windows Mobile.
