Topshop has set up an augmented reality fitting room in its Moscow flagship store using Kinect to let shoppers try on clothes without needing to shuck off their current outfit in a small, sweaty fitting room.

The Kinect camera recognises when a person is standing in front of it and superimposes 3D models of the clothes they’re interested in. You switch between outfits with simple Kinect gestures. The 3D fitting isn’t perfect yet but we’d still love to see a version of this AR fitting room hit UK stores. Take a look for yourself after the jump…
