Okay, for some reason Dell kept quiet about this yesterday, but it turns out the Mini 9 doesn’t just match the competition spec for spec – it one-ups them all by building in 3G from the get go. We want one more than ever now.
It may have had more name changes than Puff Diddy, but Dell has finally settled on Inspiron Mini 9 for its super small Eee PC botherer – and we now have a price too.
Dell must be getting ready to launch the titchy Inspiron 910 any day now, given the flurry of activity we’ve recently seen around its tiny footprint. First the specs trickled out, followed by a leaked brochure and now some close up pics are doing the rounds.
After the name and more precise details slipped out on Dell’s dinky laptop, some official looking documents have tipped up and unless they’re really good fakes it looks like it will indeed be called the Inspiron 910 and could be out as early as Friday.
Okay, so we definitely know that Dell’s upcoming Mini Inspiron isn’t going to be called the Dell E. We’re also pretty sure that Deeell PC got ruled out fairly early in the brainstorming process, which leaves us with the latest rumour that it’s going to go under the name Inspiron 910. Oh, and it’s meant to be landing on 22 August, but we’ve been burned before so we’re not getting excited about that just yet.
So, after getting aaaaall excited that Dell was going to take the wraps of its itty bitty Mini Inspiron at a press event yesterday the news is in: the Dell E is something else.
