As we reported yesterday, Sony’s relaunching the PS3′s PlayStation Store next week, and along with it is coming a free beta test version of Metal Gear Online. Not Metal Gear Solid 4, folks – this is a separate multiplayer tear-up featuring Snake and the gang. Two test maps will be included in the demo.

Now it seems our US cousins are getting yet another PS3 colour choice: a gunmetal grey version of the console to coincide with the launch of Metal Gear Solid 4. Out the same day as the game (12th June), the console will come with a Dual Shock 3 controller and is described as “VERY VERY limited edition”. It’s already been confirmed for Japan – so let’s have a UK version next please!
