TomTom’s not content with letting satnav owners tweak their own maps using Mapshare technology, it’s just been given the go-ahead to buy Tele Atlas, giving more accurate updates with fewer months between them.

Call of Duty 4 is officially the top game on Xbox Live, and soon there’ll be more levels to tackle in multiplayer mode. A new Variety Map Pack will deliver four new environments, and be available for Xbox 360 a full three weeks before the PS3. It’s due out early this month for Microsoft’s console, but PlayStation owners could have to wait until May.
