Norton: Android security threats just beginningThe threat to our mobile existence, or at least in the case of Android, is on the rise. At least according to a report from Norton, makers of Norton Anti-virus.

Google has admitted that it removed “a number” of Android malware apps from the Android Market last week and has now used the remote kill switch built into Android to remove the offending apps from users devices. Conficker is the worm that’s scaring the bejesus out of the internet security community right now. Conficker, which is also known as Downadup and Kido, has been spreading like wildfire through the internet and most scarily of all, no one knows what it’s planning. Dum dum duuuuuum.
