AnonymousIRC, a twitter account used by former members of Lulzsec (the group behind the PlayStation Network hack) and Scientology-baiting folk from Anonymous, claims an Apple server has been compromised as part of the ongoing AntiSec hacking campaign.

Don’t start staring fearfully at your Macbook or clasping your iPhone to your bosom just yet. It seems the security breach, if it’s legit, is limited to a server used to conduct a survey by Apple’s Business Intelligence group. Still, the group says Apple could be a full on target of its attentions in the future…

Those happy-go-lucky jokers LulzSec seem to have called it a day on the hacking front, at least until the heat has died down a bit. Before they crawled back under whatever it was they crawled out from, however, the LulzSec crew may have left us all a little gift.

Among the last payload of hacked documents and vandalism LulzSec released before shutting down was a cache of stolen AT&T internal documents. These appear to have spec details of both the iPhone 5 and the iPad 3.

Sega has been hacked. Over the weekend, it admitted that its Sega Pass website has been compromised exposing the personal details of 1,290,775 registered users. The attack mainly affects users in Europe and North and sounds all too familiar in the wake of the Sony PlayStation Network hack.

Fortunately, there are some major differences between the situation faced by Sega and the Sony debacle. The big one is that, since Sega uses external firms to process payments, no credit card details have been swiped. And this time, LulzSec says it didn’t do it. In fact, though it hates Sony, it seems it’s got a lot of love for Sega…
