The highly anticipate launch of the MeeGo platform is expected to catapult Nokia back into the forefront of high-end smartphones. In an entry over at MeeGo bug reports, specs for an unannounced MeeGo device have been revealed, possibly outing details on the upcoming Nokia N9.

The Axon Logic Haptic is an iPad rival that runs OS X. If you’ve been itching to get your hands on a tablet that can run Apple’s full-fat OS, Windows 7 or Linux, it could well be the hackable slate of your dreams. Axon explicitly warns that Apple’s licence forbids installing OS X on hardware other than its own but we can’t help but think it’s being a little tricksy…

Well, ok, its not actually called that, but this amazingly cheap tablet PC could fill such a niche in the developing world.
WePad is the latest iPad rival to pop its head above the parapet. We’ve already spotted Linux-based tablets like the Dell Mini 5 and an MSI tablet, and WePad will do the same – although unlike those it doesn’t use Android, but another Linux variant.
