After a bit of a snafu yesterday, the bonafide iOS 4.3 update is finally available via iTunes for your trusty iOS devices. The release was part of several Apple updates: Apple TV 4.2, Safari 5.0.4 and iOS 4.3. If you are ready to update your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, prepare yourself for a 669.8MB download.

iPhone SMS tones got an overhaul in iOS 4.2 with a slew of new alerts for your texts and…they’re uniformly awful. We have to applaud greater choice but the sounds we actually get are painful.
