iPhone SMS tones got an overhaul in iOS 4.2 with a slew of new alerts for your texts and…they’re uniformly awful. We have to applaud greater choice but the sounds we actually get are painful. It’s like they’ve been grabbed from a cartoon SFX CD and they’re strangely long for SMS tones. More bad news – iPhone 3GS owners seem to have missed out…
