Budget 8GB iPhone 4 to launch late September alongside iPhone 5A report from Reuters claims the budget-mind iPhone rumored by BGR in July will actually be an 8GB version of the iPhone 4. The smaller capacity iPhone is set to launch in late September or early October alongside the iPhone 5. As usual, the news comes from “two people with knowledge of the matter”, so take the report with a grain of salt.

The sources not only confirmed the existence of an 8GB iPhone 4, they also confirmed the flash memory is being manufactured by a Korean company — though they failed to explicitly mention its name. Currently, Apple sources its flash drives from Toshiba in Japan and Samsung in South Korea.
