Gaming on Android smartphones continues to elevate as news came in this morning regarding the availability of the Unreal Development Kit (UDK). Epic Games VP Mark Rein confirmed to website Gamasutra that the UDK will appear on Android and they’ve been providing Unreal Engine 3 in source code format for their licensees for quite some time.

Infinity Blade is one of our favourite iPhone games/iPad games and it’s just about to get a dedicated iPad 2 update. The makers of Infinity Blade promise that the iPad 2 update will include “new optimisations specifically for iPad 2″ and will take “advantage of the processing power of iPad 2″. That suggests we’ll see pumped up polygon counts and higher resolution textures to enjoy. Since Infinity Blade already looks beautiful, we can’t wait to see how it looks on iPad 2.
