At a huge 4.7-inches, it’s HTC’s biggest smartphone ever, as well as the biggest mobile running Microsoft software ever made.

The Philips Cinema 21:9 series of super widescreen tellies just went downmarket – sort of. While previous models (2D and 3D) have floated around the £4,000 mark, this new gold version slashes the price tag almost in half. So it only costs two grand, then.

Samsung hasn’t hit on real tablet success yet, but it’s damned if it’s going to stop trying. Meet their newest attempt: the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. As the name suggests, there’s a 7.7 inch screen fronting up a 1.4GHz dual-core processor. It’s running Android 3.2, but the big question here is: does size really matter?

This isn’t the first swivelly compact camera we’ve ever seen, but it’s perhaps the most cynical. Samsung’s MultiView MV800 was just unveiled at IFA in Berlin, packing a 3-inch flip-out display that Sammy says is specifically designed for “capturing the perfect self-portrait to polish your online profile.”

But, unfortunately, it doesn’t come with actual face-polish.
