Chances are, last time you were doing the weekly shop, you were semi-tempted by that own-brand Android tablet going for nothing. All the big supermarkets have been offering cut-price iPad rivals for some time, but only now do they promise to be any good: presenting the Medion P9514 Android tablet, running Honeycomb, no less.
You see lots of new gadgets and services at a tradeshow like IFA, which comes to a close on Wednesday, but it’s not always the shiniest ones that end up making a lasting impact on the world.
