Humax is launching its Humax TV Portal from January next year, bringing Sky Player, high quality BBC iPlayer streams, YouTube, Flickr, Wikipedia and internet radio to a TV near you.

A software upgrade is on its way for the Humax HD-FOX T2 set top box for Freeview HD, which will allow you to record live TV to a USB drive, turning your Humax Freeview HD box into a makeshift PVR. The Humax HD-FOX T2 update is due in early October, and also brings live pause and rewind, split recordings and schedule tracking so that you start your recordings on time.
